We are pleased to announce our latest charity partnership with Northampton based charity, KidsAid.
KidsAid offers therapeutic support to children and young people, helping them overcome traumatic issues they may have faced through their life. With traumatic events such as family breakdown, bereavement, illness and abuse, KidsAid offered alternative forms of therapy such as Art, Drama and Play Therapy.
Steve Newman, Site Manager from Kettering Self Store said “As a local business, we strive to support the community in any way we can. With KidsAid, their services and ethos struck a chord with us. What they do to help children is incredible and if we can do anything to help, however small, will be a great achievement for us. I’m sure over the next few months, we will have further additional opportunities to support the charity and raise funds”.
Donating £5 to the charity for every new sign up from January through to March should see a great sum of money accumulated for the charity.
Suki from KidsAid explains further: ‘We at KidsAid are delighted that Kettering Self Store have chosen us as their charity to support. They have pledged to donate £5 for each new sign up for the storage facility for the first 3 months after opening.
KidsAid does not receive any government funding and relies totally on the support of individuals, local business and grants to ensure that we are able to provide services for the vulnerable children that we work with. We provide creative Therapies to 3-18 year old so they can express and begin to understand their thoughts and feelings in an alternative way to just speaking. We would like to thank everybody at Kettering Self Store for supporting KidsAid!’
